I’m Georgie Meadows, a Newcastle family photographer and Hunter Valley motherhood photographer, mama to one wild and beautiful little human, and part-time early childhood teacher.

If you’re anything like most mums, you’re the one behind the camera. You have thousands of photos of your children, but hardly any with you in them. Or maybe your last family photos felt rushed, posed, and a little stressful. Smiling on cue, negotiating with toddlers, hoping everyone cooperates long enough for one “good” shot.

Motherhood deserves more than that.

Becoming a mother showed me just how fleeting this season is, and how important it is for our children to see us in their memories. Present. Loving. Connected. Not perfect, just real.

That is why I create natural, child-led sessions across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. No pressure. No forced poses. Just space for your family to be together. To cuddle, explore, laugh, and slow down. I capture beautiful images, yes, but I also give you something more valuable, uninterrupted time connecting with the people who matter most.

The result is not just a gallery of photographs. It is proof that you were there. In the frame. In the moment. In their childhood.
