Not every Christmas memory happens beneath a perfectly styled tree or in a picture-perfect setting. Some of the most beautiful ones happen right where you are.
In the familiar corners of your home. In the little arms that wrap around your legs. In the Christmas pyjamas, the excited little voices, the mess on the floor and the ordinary moments that somehow become the ones you wish you could hold onto forever.
This year, I wanted to offer something a little different.
Instead of creating another Christmas setup, I'm bringing the camera to you. Your home, your people, your version of Christmas, exactly as it is right now.
These relaxed 30-minute sessions are about capturing the feeling of Christmas at your house. The way your little ones look at the tree, the way you all squeeze onto the couch, the giggles, the cuddles and the beautiful, beautifully imperfect life you've built together.
Because one day, the toys won't be scattered across the floor. The little voices will sound different. The Christmas traditions will change, and the home that holds this season of your life will look different, too.
And you'll be so glad you have these photographs.

Why Christmas minis?
Christmas with little ones is magical, messy and fleeting. These short sessions are a simple, more affordable way to capture your family's Christmas traditions and the little moments you'll want to remember long after the season has passed.
But my house is messy!
Please don't stress! I'm not coming to inspect your home. We can find a little spot with beautiful light, and the focus will be on your family, not the washing in the corner. Your home doesn't need to be perfect to hold beautiful memories.
Why in-home sessions instead of a Christmas setup?
Because I want to capture your Christmas, not someone else's version of it. Your tree, your traditions, your little people and the home where your family's story is unfolding. These everyday details might not seem significant now, but one day, they'll mean everything.
What if my children don't sit still?
That's absolutely fine! These sessions are relaxed and child-led. There's no expectation for little ones to sit perfectly or smile on cue. We'll make space for cuddles, play and all the beautiful in-between moments.
What do we even do for 30 minutes?
Oh, so many things! Decorate the Christmas tree, cuddle on the lounge, read Christmas stories, make gingerbread houses, bake cookies, sip hot chocolate or jump through the sprinkler in the backyard. Want to jump off the lounge? Go for it! We'll chat beforehand about the things your family loves, come up with a few ideas together and then go with the flow on the day. There's no set formula, just your family doing what your family does best.
What if my home doesn't have much natural light?
Before your session, we'll chat about your home and work out the best spots for photographs, as well as the best time of day to make the most of your natural light. A little preparation beforehand helps us make the most of our time together!
